Consolidated Glass introduced their Dancing Nymph line in 1936. This pattern was influenced by the Lalique glass of France. The introduction of the Art Moderne pattern in 1928 caused a lot of excitement in the glass industry. This pattern is pictured in our book-
"Elegant Glass 4th edition"
by Debbie and Randy Coe on page 92.
The plate is in normal used condition with
no
staining, chips or cracks. On the top gloss area, there are numerous scratches from normal use. There are several wavy lines and air bubbles in the glass that occurred during the manufacture process. We are a nonsmoking home/shop and there are no odors on this piece.
eBay now has started to collect sales tax from some states. We have nothing to do with it. Buyers are responsible for checking eBay policy on sales tax. eBay will be adding more states to the collection list in the future. Any questions on sales tax would be to eBay and not us.
