2S LiPo glow plug driver for fixed wing RC aircraft.
This extremely lightweight robust and easy to use glow driver system designed to eliminate the need of external handheld glow igniters or start panels for starting methanol engines and also can be set up to automatically control the glow plug power at idle or low RPM.
All operations and adjustments can be made remotely by the aircraft transmitter. It can dramatically increase the safety of engine starting procedure by eliminating the need of operation near the rotating propeller. Much more fun can be achieved using the automatic functions of depend-on-throttle control. No dead stick at rising the throttle after long time idle state (such as glide passes). Even more is electric-like responsive throttle transitions due to richer low-needle-mixture that can be made with no fear to flood the glow plug. Perfect for hardcore 3D!
All you need for full-featured operation is one TX channel with switch ("fulltime-on", for starting the engine or "throttle-controlled" for normal flight) and one free mixer that "mirrors" the throttle channel. Both reversing and off-point can be set by REV and TRIM transmitter settings respectively, on the TX channel this driver board is connected to.
This kit contains all you may need to pump-up your aircraft with this world most reliable and durable on board glow driver system, including two 50 cm (20 inch approx.) military grade thin strong and heat resistant fluoroplastic wires for glow plugs, supplied by all necessary connectors, including very strong small and extremely reliable glow plug clamp. All you need is to add a small 2s LiPo battery. (800mAh 10C will be perfect for full day operation.)
And yeah! NO soldering required! You can upgrade your aircraft in 5 minutes right on the field!
