The Baccarat Empire pattern is an elaborate, gold encrusted design produced on the Harcourt crystal blank which dates to 1841. It is a world class pattern worthy of royalty. The full pattern line is out of production. The only items produced today are the Empire decanters and highball tumblers. This is the 5 3/8" tall red wine or claret. The diameter at the top is 3 1/4". There are many sizes of goblets so please measure yours for an exact match. These pieces were found in their original box and apparently never used. The goblet is excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs. It is clear, heavy, and bright and is marked on the bottom with the etched Baccarat factory mark as shown.
